Pipe rehabilitation using the Re-lining method involves repairing or restoring underground pipes without the need for extensive excavation. This approach includes inserting a new lining into the existing pipe to create a smooth and durable inner surface. The method effectively seals leaks, prevents corrosion, and enhances the structural integrity of the pipe. This process can minimize disruption to the surrounding environment, reduce costs, and significantly decrease the time required for pipe rehabilitation.
Additionally, Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining is considered to be one of the quieter trenchless rehabilitation methods, in contrast to the traditional "open, cut, and replace" method. The process involves pulling deflated soft liner fabric material into the host pipe using a winch. The liner is then inflated with compressed air to fit tightly within the host pipe. Finally, the liner is cured using steam until it cools down and hardens.
